A few weeks ago Hosanna and I sat down to write a song. She has made up at least a thousand in her lifetime but this was the first time we intentionally did it and wrote it down at that moment.
She gave me the words instantly almost without even thinking. I wrote them down. I read them back. She corrected me on the finer points.. It was "my God" not just "God"...etc... I played a chord on the piano and pretty much just followed her wherever she went with it. Now she has her first "real" song at the age of 6 that she can teach to anyone and we all sing it together. Here it is.
